We love sharing sauna experiences with Children over 6 years old. Children between the ages of 7 and 13 must be closely supervised by a legal guardian or parent and should limit their time in sauna to 5-10 minutes per session. Please remember this is a space of relaxation. Private or family affinity groups are always a fun option as well.

For beginners, we recommend staying in the sauna for around 8-15 minutes per round. Experienced sauna-goers may stay up to 20 minutes. Listen to your body, and step out when you need to cool down.

Yes! A session at the Oceanside Orca Sauna is one hour and fifteen minutes. You can use that time as you please. We suggest alternating between the sauna and ocean plunge or cold plunges, 15 mins in the sauna, 1-2 mins in the plunge, and repeat. This hot-cold cycle can boost circulation and leave you feeling revitalized. Please make sure to shower before entering the sauna, especially before your session begins and after every ocean plunge.
