We’re a family of outdoor enthusiasts who love stepping into a hot sauna after a day of adventures. Our sauna door is always open to friends, family, and clients like you!

Karin and Ryan split their time between teaching and coordinating roles with the qathet School District in Powell River, BC. Karin serves as the Outdoor Learning Coordinator, while Ryan is the Sustainability Coordinator. (You can check out our other work at Integralearning.org.)

Orca Saunas is our true passion project—a quirky family side venture where everyone contributes to keeping you healthy. We all have a hand in chopping the firewood, updating the website, refinished the benches and delivering to you on time.

The kids are on payroll and learn valuable lessons by dividing their earnings between long-term ethical investments, charity, and spending money. Through this, we hope to teach them the value of hard work, service, connecting with others, and running a business.
